Battle of the Books is a book-based trivia tournament for children in grades 4-6. Libraries hold local competitions to determine which team will compete at the Regional Battle, which is held at St. James School in Gouverneur. The Regional Battle for 2013 will be held on June 1, 2013.

Can't get enough Battle? Teen Reads Tourney is a teen version of Battle of the Books for kids ages 12-18. The Tourney is held every year on Veteran's Day at the Flower Memorial Library in Watertown.
