The new NCLS website layout is designed to be easy to navigate. It consists of a header region with our name and logo. If you click on the name or logo it will return you to the homepage.
Next is the menubar. Each main menu highlights a specific area and has various drop-down and pop-out menus. Wherever you see an arrow there are additional submenus.
There is also a left and right sidebar that consists of blocks depending on which page of the site you are on or what roles your particular user belongs to.
The left sidebar which appears on each page except the homepage, contains the log-in block or user specific blocks depending on whether or not you are logged into the site.
The right sidebar contains the search block where you can search either the Online Catalog, A Reference topic, both of which take you to the Sirsi catalog site in a new window, or this site. The right sidebar also contain a link to our calendar of events, a search box for our Library Directory, links to find us on the web, and a link to our IT support site.
The main content of each page resides between these two sidebars. A printer, e-mail(if you are logged-in), and pdf icon will allow you to display a printer friendly page, e-mail a page to another person, or create a pdf file respectively.
