NCLS offers free black and white printing and low cost color custom printing on bulk print jobs for member libraries. Please read the printing quidelines and our complete price list below for more details. In addition to our printing services, we can also assist you with graphic design for flyers and other publications for your library.

Bulk Mailing
Beginning in March 2012 the NCLS bulk mailing service will not be available until September 10, 2012. One of the effects of our smaller staff (twelve positions lost over the past ten years) is less flexibility. Paulette Roes, who is responsible for the bulk mailings, will be gone for maternity leave during this time period.
If your library would like to conduct a bulk mailing for the Spring (especially for a school ballot referendum) please be aware of the following dates in order to get your mailing out before NCLS temporarily suspends the service:
February 15th – All materials to be printed by NCLS need to be sent to NCLS by this date.
Once materials are printed, they will be returned to the library for processing (folding, taping, etc.).
March 9th – All printed materials that have been processed by the library need to be returned to NCLS by this date for mailing.
Member libraries may use the NCLS bulk mailing permit. Bulk mailings can save your library a substantial amount of money in postage costs and help your library become more visible by “getting the word out”. But they also require a substantial amount of staff hours for both NCLS and your library, so please plan bulk mailings in advance. Please read the Bulk Mailing Instructions before you start your bulk mailing.
